Can you look in logs, and tell me if you see an error ?
What version of PHP do you use ?
Because it is recommended for this file, to use a version 7.1 to 7.3.

PHP 7.1.27

It does not show errors, it just does not work, when it's encrypted it works. In case, it should present a message, when it is encrypted it presents, when it is not it does not present.

I changed to:

error_reporting (E_ALL | E_STRICT);
ini_set ("error_log", "./error.log");

In the file showed some PHP Notice and only, no error. Is there a bug in special characters? When I turn off line 784 and 785 it starts working partially.

It's a very good track, can be pattern concerns. ;)
To know that our decompiler adds a backslash to a backslash, try on these lines to remove this \\ by this \, and tell me if you have an identical result, than when you delete these lines.
